Dear Friend,

Last week, we said goodbye to our Arizona hero. As we grieve the loss of Senator McCain, we remember his tireless commitment to our state and our country. John McCain’s legacy will continue for generations to come, and it’s up to us to carry on his commitment to country over party. 

In his farewell statement, Senator McCain said, “[w]e have always had so much more in common with each other than in disagreement. If only we remember that and give each other the benefit of the presumption that we all love our country, we'll get through these challenging times… believe always in the promise and greatness of America, because nothing is inevitable here. Americans never quit. We never surrender. We never hide from history. We make history."

These are words we should all strive to follow.

Let’s honor Senator McCain’s legacy by fulfilling his vision and working together for Arizona.
