Awarded $2,328,900.00

Arizona Family Health Partnership received this Title X renewal grant from the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Public Health and Science/Office of Family Planning for their family planning programs. Arizona Family Health Partnership is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to making reproductive healthcare and education available and accessible to all women, men and teens in Arizona. 
Arizona Family Health Partnership Staff

Engineering Arts, LLC Awarded $149,800.00

Engineering Arts develops diagnostic tools that aid in the early detection of life-threatening diseases. Their latest grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences will be used for the Cryo-Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) Sample Preparation Project. www.engineeringarts.com.

   Dr. Rosalind Sadleir
ASU Neuro-Electricity Laboratory

Dr. Sadleir’s Neuro-Electricity Laboratory at ASU received a $507,054.00 grant from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke for research surrounding functional imaging of electrical brain stimulation. The laboratory received an additional $175,566.00 grant for in vivo imaging of therapeutic electric current flow. Dr. Rosalind Sadleir

ASU Biodesign Institute, Center for

Inflammation & Cancer

Dr. DuBois and the Center for Inflammation and Cancer received $333,038.00 in funding from the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive, and Kidney Diseases for the continuing research on the role of eicosanoids in intestinal biology. Dr. DuBois received a $399,474.00 grant from the National Cancer Institute for his research on the underlying effects of aspirin on colorectal cancer. U.S. Department of Labor - New Grants for Job Training & Job Search Services

Workforce Innovation Fund Grants - SGA-DFA-PY-13-06 The Employment and Training Administration has $53 million in grant funds available under the Workforce Innovation Fund (WIF) grant program. These funds support innovative approaches for long-term improvements in the performance of the public workforce system, outcomes for job seekers and employers, and cost-effectiveness. Closing Date: June 182014. Full Announcement.

Susan Harwood Safety and Health Training Grants -The Susan Harwood Training Grant Program funds in-person, hands-on training, educational programs and materials for workers and employers in small businesses; industries with high injury, illness and fatality rates; and workers who are underserved, have limited English proficiency or are temporary workers. The grants fund training and education for workers and employers to identify and prevent workplace safety and health hazards. Closing date for applications is June 31, 2014Susan Harwood Training Grant Program.

Disability Employment Initiative Grants - SGA-DFA-PY-13-11
 The Employment and Training Administration (ETA), in coordination with the Department's Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), announces the availability of $15 million in grant funds for the Round V Disability Employment Initiative (DEI). Approximately eight grants, ranging from $1.5 million to $2.5 million each will be funded, and applicants may apply for up to $2.5 million.
