Sinema Celebrates Medicare Anniversary, Holds Forum with Phoenix Seniors

Phoenix – Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema (AZ-09) held a Congressional Forum to celebrate the anniversary of Medicare today in Phoenix. At the Beatitudes Campus senior living community, Sinema spoke with seniors about the continuing fight to protect Medicare and Social Security. Today is the 53rd anniversary of Medicare being signed into law.

“For more than 50 years, Medicare has helped ensure American seniors can live a healthy and secure retirement,” said Congresswoman Sinema. “Arizonans earn Medicare and Social Security through a lifetime of hard work, and it’s our responsibility to protect these benefits for current seniors and future generations.”
