Sinema Hosts Qwaltec, Inc. CEO Shawn Linam at Joint Session of Congress


WASHINGTON, D.C — Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema (AZ-09) will host Shawn Linam, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Qwaltec, Inc., at tonight’s Joint Session of Congress. Qwaltec, Inc., based in Tempe, Arizona, provides high-quality aerospace systems engineering, mission readiness, and technical training services.

Prior to founding Qwaltec in 2001, Linam worked as an engineer at Scitor Corporation, NASA, and Barrios Technology. She has extensive experience in space systems operations and has designed and implemented training systems for numerous government and commercial space programs.

Linam is also active in promoting engineering and science programs for young women and minorities. She serves as a Girl Scout leader and an active member of Chances for Children, which provides fitness training, nutritional programs and educational services to students throughout Arizona.
