Sinema Joins Nationwide Employees for Town Hall

Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema (AZ-09) continued her jobs tour with a stop in Scottsdale to hear from employees at Nationwide Insurance. Sinema discussed her work to get results for Arizona families and help businesses like Nationwide grow and hire in Arizona. She took questions from the audience on a wide range of issues, from improving access to affordable health care to delivering comprehensive immigration reform and ensuring Arizona kids receive a quality education.

“Hearing from Arizonans at our town hall today, it’s clear they want leaders to work across the aisle and get stuff done,” said Congresswoman Sinema. “I’m working with Nationwide and their employees to cut through the Washington chaos to improve access to affordable healthcare, build greater opportunity for everyday Arizonans, and help Nationwide create more good-paying jobs right here in our state.”

Sinema started her jobs tour to work directly with Arizona business to help them grow and hire. The tour has taken her all across the Valley, with multiplestopsin Phoenix, as well as Chandler, Tempe, and Scottsdale. She has worked with apprenticeship programs, entrepreneurs and startup founders, and business leaders to find commonsense solutions that help create Arizona jobs.
