A great place to do business

Dear Friend,

One of our top priorities in Congress is working across the aisle to grow our economy and create opportunity for Arizona families. We developed Opportunity for Arizona – a commonsense, Arizona-focused plan to create good-paying jobs, strengthen our economy, and ensure businesses have every chance to succeed.

Arizona is a great place to turn an idea into a small business, and we want every start-up to be able to thrive. Last October, we held a roundtable with AZ Bio and Arizona Life Science innovators to learn more about what they need to move life-saving, life-changing innovations forward. Each company told us they need access to more capital in order to grow, hire, and succeed.

That’s why last week we introduced the Fostering Innovation Act, bipartisan legislation to reduce burdensome regulations and allow emerging growth companies to spend valuable resources on product research and development instead of costly and unnecessary external audits.

We must do everything we can to create an attractive environment where Arizona businesses, both large and small, can compete and grow on a national and global scale.
