Veterans Advisory Council

Our Veterans Advisory Council (VAC) was formed to seek feedback from Arizona veterans.  We are thankful to all members of our VAC who serve as our “boots on the ground” to provide valuable feedback and recommendations regarding policies, programs, and resources that enhance and support Arizona veterans.

The VAC meets quarterly, during business hours. The term of each new member will be for the remaining 115th Congressional session (ending January 3, 2019).  The council has formed three groups to better serve our veteran communities:

·         Community Outreach Group: Members of this group are responsible for helping distribute veteran services event information in the community, as well as sharing feedback on legislation Congresswoman Sinema is working on.

·         Legislative Group:  Members of this group are responsible for tracking and monitoring state and federal legislation related to veterans and sharing them with the council during scheduled meetings.

·         Event Planning Group: Members of this group are responsible for assisting Congresswoman Sinema’s team in the planning of veteran services events.
